Photography has always been an interest of mine. This site is my take on the art form.
I began exploring photography at a young age in New Orleans taking our family polaroids. Visiting local museums inspired me to take my camera on nature walks with hopes of one day capturing an image worthy of a space on their walls.
Eventually, I graduated to digital photography in high school (on floppy disc before memory cards). I then had a habit of keeping a Casio Point & Shoot camera with me through college, but it wasn’t until later into my career as a NWS meteorologist that I was able to devote more time to photography.
It is my hope that the photos I share compel you to pause for a brief moment, take in the shapes and forms of the images, and reflect on the world around us.
